BABYMONSTER Received Praise from US Billboard and Forbes 

YG's rookie girl group BABYMONSTER has received the spotlight from major overseas media outlets Billboard and Forbes.

Back on April 1 (local time), the US music specialist media Billboard introduced BABYMONSTER’s new title track “SHEESH” as a “cool song”, stating that it is a song that “a thunderous showcase for the collective that deploys its titular exclamation with jubilation”. 

The media site also praised “SHEESH” as a track which “strikes a balance between playful and cutthroat on the track,” thus elevating its musical completeness.

Meanwhile, economic magazine Forbes extensively covered BABYMONSTER’s overwhelming power and popularity on YouTube. The media outlet analyzed that from its moment of release,  “SHEESH” “has become something of an online hit”, adding that BABYMONSTER  “may be headed for a quick commercial smash.”

Additionally, it was mentioned that “SHEESH” has maintained is No.1 spot of YouTube’s global MV ranking for 4 days straight, despite various new releases from major artists. 

“The success of “Sheesh” is a sign that the world may need to brace for BabyMonster to become the next breakout stars from the K-pop world”, Forbes also concluded, adding, “The fact that they’ve been able to rule the ranking is not just impressive, it’s reason to believe that big things are in store for the girl group.”

In fact, BABYMONSTER’s “SHEESH” music video soared to the top of the YouTube global daily popular music video chart immediately after its release on April 1 at 0:00. As it continues its unstoppable rise, the current views have exceeded 64.3 million. Meanwhile, the official YouTube channel of BABYMONSTER has over 4.9 million subscribers.

On the other hand, BABYMONSTER will start appearing on music broadcasts such as SBS “Inkigayo” on the 7th of April, and is expected to be interacting with fans through various contents and fan signing events. 

They will also expand their scope to the global market through fan meetings in five Asian regions including Tokyo, Japan, Jakarta, Indonesia, Bangkok, Thailand, as well as Singapore and Taipei.
