BABYMONSTER debuted last year with “BATTER UP” as YG’s first girl group in 7 years after BLACKPINK. With the addition of all-rounder member Ahyeon for this mini-album, they announced their official debut.

Regarding being recognized as “BLACKPINK’s younger sister group”, Rami said, “It’s an honor. Thanks to that, many people are paying attention to us. I really think it’s a huge honor, and I’m grateful.”

Rora commented on BABYMONSTER’s unique color differentiating them from BLACKPINK, “I think YG DNA is our color. Like YG DNA, it’s hip, teen-friendly and has plenty of room for growth. I think that’s our charm.

Asa added, “There are wonderful seniors at YG who have great stage presence and skills. We’re practicing hard to be like our seniors. We’re working hard to show what we can do.”
