Babylon is about to kick off his “Beautiful Memories USA Tour” on October 24. This is the first time Babylon set to tour the United States, in which he will perform in all regions of the country across 21 shows.
On this occasion, Kbizoom had an exclusive interview with Babylon. Let’s listen to the singer share interesting insights about his tour and his upcoming plans.
You’re about to start your U.S. tour. What are you most excited about for this tour, and how have you prepared to connect with your American fans?
What I’m most excited about is that I’ve never performed in the U.S. before, so this overseas U.S. tour is what I’m looking forward to the most and it’s very thrilling. I plan to perform while introducing my music in a natural way, like a radio DJ, to connect with American fans.
You’ve been praised for your exceptional production skills. How do you keep evolving as an artist while staying true to your unique style?
I strive to create music as naturally as possible, staying true to myself. I believe that’s my answer.
How do you choose which collaborations to pursue? Are there any artists you’re hoping to work with in the future?
I consider the tone of their voice and how well the chemistry and synergy with my music will work. I’d like to collaborate with Jacquees, Chris Brown, and SZA.
What’s the biggest challenge you’ve faced in your career so far, and how did you overcome it?
The biggest challenge has been releasing full-length albums instead of just singles. It’s tough, but I manage by keeping my condition in check and working hard.
What has been the most rewarding aspect of your career so far, both professionally and personally?
Collaborating with the American artist Eric Benet was impressive. Also, continuing to release the EGO 90’S series albums, which embody the idea that while trends change, classics are eternal, has been very satisfying.
Looking ahead, what are your goals for the next few years? Are there any new projects or directions you’re excited to explore?
I want to collaborate with international artists. I will continue to diligently release my music as full-length albums, giving it my best effort.
