Sieun

Biography

Sieun is a South Korean singer and actress. She is a member of the South Korean girl group STAYC, formed by High Up Entertainment. Sieun debuted as a child actress in 2014 and later transitioned to music, debuting with STAYC in 2020. She has since gained recognition both for her vocal talent and her early acting work.

Early Life and Education

Park Si-eun was born on August 1, 2001, in Ichon-dong, Yongsan District, Seoul, South Korea. She is the daughter of veteran Korean singer Park Nam-jung and has a younger brother, Park Si-woo.

Sieun began pursuing performing arts from a young age. She attended schools in Seoul and later enrolled at Chung-Ang University, where she studied in the Department of Performance and Visual Creation while continuing her career in entertainment.

Career

Child Acting Career (2014–2019)

Sieun first entered the entertainment industry as a child actress in February 2014, appearing in the EBS television series Pluto Secret Society. She continued to act in television dramas and films, including Love Forecast (2015) and Golden Slumber (2018). During this period, she was also a trainee under Fantagio Music and later JYP Entertainment before eventually joining High Up Entertainment.

Her performances as a young actress earned her early experience and exposure in the industry, showcasing a strong screen presence even before her music debut.

Music Debut with STAYC (2020–present)

On September 8, 2020, Sieun was introduced as the first member of the upcoming girl group STAYC. The group debuted on November 12, 2020, with their single album Star To A Young Culture. Since debut, Sieun has served as one of the group’s main vocalists and has been involved in multiple comebacks that have solidified STAYC’s place in the K-pop scene.

In April 2023, STAYC introduced a rotational leadership system, and Sieun was announced as one of the co-leaders of the group.
