Biography

Shin Eun-soo is a South Korean actress. She made her acting debut as the female lead in the 2016 film Vanishing Time: A Boy Who Returned and has since appeared in numerous television series and films, illustrating her range from youth roles to more mature characters.

Early Life and Training

Shin Eun-soo was born on October 23, 2002 in Seoul, South Korea. Before debuting as an actress, she joined JYP Entertainment in 2014 as a trainee, training for both singing and acting. During this period she prepared intensively before earning her first acting role.

Career

Acting Debut and Film Roles (2016–2019)

Shin made her acting debut in 2016 with the fantasy film Vanishing Time: A Boy Who Returned, in which she played the character Su-rin, marking a notable start to her career at a young age. She received praise and early award recognition for her performance.

Soon after, she made her television debut in the hit drama The Legend of the Blue Sea (2016–2017), portraying the younger version of Jeon Ji-hyun’s character, gaining early visibility in broadcast drama. She also appeared in the short film Chang-ok’s Letter (2017) and voiced the female lead in the animated film The Shower (2017). In 2018, she appeared in the sci-fi action film Illang: The Wolf Brigade and played a major role in the family drama Bad Papa (2018), winning recognition as a young actress.

In the following years, she took on supporting and featured roles in projects including Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol (2020), the anthology series SF8 (2020), and films such as Homme Fatale (2019).

Recent Television and Film Work (2022–Present)

From 2022 onwards, Shin has continued building her television portfolio. She appeared in historical drama Bloody Heart (2022) as the younger version of Yoo Jeong’s character, and in series such as A Model Family (2022), Summer Strike (2022), and Twinkling Watermelon (2023), where she played Yoon Cheong-ah.

In 2024, she starred in the Disney+ series Light Shop as Joo Hyun-joo, expanding her presence on digital platforms. She continues to take on diverse roles that showcase emotional range and depth.

Her film credits also include the 2025 release Love Untangled, in which she portrays Park Se-ri, anticipated as part of her continued cinematic work.

Relationship

According to a Newsen report on January 29 2026, Shin Eun Soo and Yoo Seon Ho are currently dating. Both born in 2002 and now 25 years old, the two stars reportedly began their relationship late last year and have been seeing each other for about three months.

The couple is said to have met through gatherings with close mutual friends. Despite having no prior projects together or professional overlap, their connection gradually developed into a romantic relationship as they spent more time together.
