Lee Yi-dam is a South Korean actress and model. She has gained recognition for her performances in television series and Netflix originals, and is known for roles in Black Knight (2023), Daily Dose of Sunshine (2023), and the upcoming series Can This Love Be Translated? Early Life and Education
Lee Yi-dam was born Baek Hye-won on May 20, 1996, in South Korea. She discovered her passion for acting in high school while participating in her school’s theater club, which inspired her to pursue a career in performance.
Career
Acting Debut and Early Work (2017–2022)
Lee made her acting debut in 2017 in the short film Two Lights: Relumino, directed by Hur Jin-ho. She continued to build her film credits with roles in projects such as The Tale of Mari and Yimae (2019) and appeared in the acclaimed feature film Beasts Clawing at Straws (2020).
She transitioned into television with supporting roles in Voice 4 (2021) and as a main cast member in the JTBC drama Artificial City (2021–2022).
Rise to Prominence (2023–Present)
Lee gained broader international exposure in 2023 through her supporting roles in Netflix original series. In Black Knight, she portrayed the character “4-1,” a determined delivery driver involved in social justice action sequences. In Daily Dose of Sunshine, she played Min Deul-re, a psychiatric nurse, earning praise for her grounded performance alongside leading cast members.
