Hong Kyung was born Hong Keung-eun on June 21, 1996, in Jeongeup, North Jeolla Province, South Korea. He grew up in his hometown before moving to pursue higher education. He attended Hanyang University, where he majored in Film Arts, graduating with a degree that strengthened both his theoretical foundation and practical skills in performance.
