Apink’s leader Park Cho-rong apologized to fans as Son Na-eun decided to leave the group

With Son Na-eun leaving the group Apink, leader Park Cho-rong expressed her sorry feelings to fans.

Apink’s Cho-rong said through her agency’s official Instagram on April 8th, “Since the last special album, I’ve been thinking a lot and talking about Apink’s future with all the members. We haven’t realized this moment yet because we’ve been together for 10 years and we’ve been through hard times and happy times. For the past 10 years, each member has sacrificed a lot to maintain Apink, and has made a lot of efforts. We know each other so well, so we really thought a lot about what’s best for each other and made the decision,” she said.

IST Entertainment said, “Apink will reorganize its lineup into a five member group with Park Cho-rong, Yoon Bo-mi, Jung Eun-ji, Kim Nam-joo, and Oh Ha-young, starting with the releasing schedule for the 11th anniversary of its debut on April 19th.”

In her statement, Cho-rong apologized to fans and promised to come back with better music. Today (April 8), Son Naeun also announced her departure.
