Apink members make fans burst out laughing as they transform into “Squid Game” characters

Girl group Apink (Park Cho-rong, Yoon Bo-mi, Jung Eun-ji, Son Na-eun, Kim Nam-joo, Oh Ha-young) showed off their pleasant charm by parodying “Squid Game”.

On Jan 1st, Apink members posted several images on their Instagram along with the caption saying “This is Apink“.

The photos showed Apink parodying Netflix’s original series “Squid Game” for the recently held fan meeting’s commemorative video. The members not only wore “Squid Game” costumes, but also added wrinkles, beards and tattoo makeup to their faces, which drew laughter. In particular, their natural facial expressions caught everyone’s eye.

Fans who saw this showed various reactions such as “It’s really Apink-like”, “Apink’s another legendary meme was born”, “It took me a long time to figure out who is who”, “Oh, it’s so funny”, etc.

Apink held a fan meeting to commemorate the 10th anniversary of their debut at Sejong University’s Daeyang Hall, Gwangjin-gu, Seoul on Dec 31st, 2021.

The members are working on an album with the aim of making a return in February as a whole. Son Na-eun, who moved to YG Entertainment, will also join this comeback.
