A short clip titled “Annie Promotes Shinsegae During Tarzzan’s Livestream” circulated online, showing Tarzzan streaming while holding a parrot plushie symbolizing Oakberry açaí bowls. He praised the brand, saying: “Oakberry is really delicious. I totally recommend their açaí bowls.”

Reading through the comments, Tarzzan noticed one left by fellow group member Annie, who wrote: “It’s in the basement of House of Shinsegae. (This is not an ad).” The remark instantly caught viewers’ attention. Tarzzan responded by saying, “I turned on live because I missed you guys,” before asking, “But what are you all doing right now?”

Annie replied: “Honestly, it only takes five minutes to get there, but I just can’t get up right now.” Tarzzan playfully retorted: “Everyone already knows that,” before holding the parrot up to the camera and joking in a disguised voice: “Seoyoon, once you lie down, you never get up.”

The back-and-forth continued with Annie commenting, “Don’t touch the parrot so affectionately,” prompting Tarzzan to quip, “You have to be affectionate,” before kissing the plushie—sending fans into laughter.

Netizens who watched the livestream shared reactions such as:

“Wow, ‘not an ad’ but totally feels like one.”

“This really looks like a Shinsegae family promotion.”

“Was there a family event going on?”

“Tarzzan isn’t fazed at all.”

“He’s unexpectedly sweet.”

Annie’s background has only fueled curiosity. She is known as the granddaughter of Shinsegae Group chairwoman Lee Myung-hee and revealed it took her ten years to gain approval to debut as an idol. On YouTube’s Salon Drip 2, Annie shared: “At first, my family said absolutely not, but after I insisted, they gave me a final deal: if I got into an Ivy League school, I could pursue it.”

Annie later entered Columbia University and eventually debuted in AllDay Project, a co-ed group under The Black Label led by Teddy.
