Girl group Weeekly is rumored to be joining the lineup of Mnet’s survival show “Queendom Puzzle” as a whole.
According to Korean media outlets, all members of girl group Weeekly, except for Shin Jiyoon who left the group in June 2022, will be participating in the Mnet survival program “Queendom Puzzle”.
Weeekly, which debuted in June 2020 and gained great attention with the song “After School”, hasn’t made any comeback since 2022, arousing concerns among fans.
If the group will truly join “Queendom Puzzle”, they will be competing against former IZ*ONE Lee Chaeyeon, former CLC Yeeun, former LABOUM Haein, former MOMOLAND JooE, former Lovelyz Kei, and “Produce 48” participant Shiroma Miru, among others.
On the other hand, “Queendom Puzzle” is a spin off of the Mnet show “Queendom”, where current and former girl group members, as well as female soloists, compete to form a powerful project girl group.
The full lineup of “Queendom Puzzle” will be unveiled in May, while the first episode will be broadcasted in June.
