Actor Ryu Jun-yeol talked about his second time acting alongside actress Kim Tae-ri.
Ryu Jun-yeol attended the press conference for the new movie “Alienoid” held at Conrad Seoul Hotel in Yeouido, Seoul on the morning of June 23rd and shared, “Working together for the second time, our collaboration was better. I relied on her a lot.”
The first part of “Alienoid” (directed by Choi Dong-hoon, produced by K-Film, and distributed by CJ ENM) depicts the story that begins when the gates of time open between the swordsmen trying to acquire the legendary divine sword in the late Goryeo Dynasty and those who chase after alien prisoners trapped in human bodies in 2022.
Ryu Jun-yeol plays the role of Mureuk, a swordsman who tries to get the legendary sword, while Kim Tae-ri appears as Lee Ahn, a mysterious character who searches for the divine sword. Earlier in 2018, the two met through the movie “Little Forest”.
On the same day, Ryu Jun-yeol said, “From the beginning, I asked her ‘What kind of work you want to do next?’. That’s how close we are”. Kim Tae-ri also added, “I was really nervous when I came to the filming set, but Ryu Jun-yeol was there and that made me feel more comfortable.”
“Alienoid” will premiere on July 20th.
