Member Alex’s departure from the group DRIPPIN has been confirmed.
Woollim Entertainment released an official statement on July 28th that reads, “Our company and DRIPPIN member Alex have been in extensive discussions for a long time regarding his future personal path and others. After careful consideration and consultation with both Alex and his parents, it has been decided that Alex will conclude his activities as a member of DRIPPIN and also end his exclusive contract with our company.“
The statement continues, “We express deep gratitude to Alex for being with us. We will cherish every moment we spent with him and always support and encourage him in his new journey.“
Following Alex’s departure, DRIPPIN will continue their activities as a 6-member group, consisting of Hwang Yunseong, Lee Hyeop, Joo Changwook, Kim Dongyun, Kim Minseo, and Cha Junho.
DRIPPIN debuted in October 2020 and promoted with their third single, ‘Seven Sins,’ in April of this year.
