AKMU’s Lee Su-hyun cried on stage for the first time in 10 years
On December 22nd, KBS 2TV’s entertainment program “The Seasons: Long Day, Long Night with AKMU” aired “Siblings special episode” and invited brother and sister audiences.
That day, Lee Su-hyun presented a solo stage of Yoo Jae-ha’s song “Hidden Road”. Regarding the reason she chose this song, Lee Su-hyun said, “‘Long Day, Long Night with AKMU’ allowed me to experience doing something really cool. Whenever I came here for the shoot, I received love and warmth in your eyes and gained a lot of strength”.
After that, Lee Su-hyun burst out crying in the middle of the performance. Unable to control her emotions, she stopped singing for a while and tried to calm herself down but couldn’t.
Seeing that, Lee Chan-hyuk began singing the song from under the stage to help his sister. Later, Lee Su-hyun completed the whole performance with her brother.
After finishing the song, Lee Su-hyun confessed, “I’m so sorry. This is the first time in 10 years that I cried on stage”. Lee Chan-hyuk suddenly appeared with some tissues and wiped the tears of Lee Su-hyun.
Meanwhile, Lee Su-hyun appeared on JTBC’s “Long Live Independence” in the past and drew regrets when she confessed that she had even considered retirement during her slump. Recently, the female singer shared that she had not fully overcome the slump but still gained the courage to make a comeback thanks to the great support of her brother Lee Chan-hyuk.
