On April 9, AKMU members Lee Chan-hyuk and Lee Suhyun appeared on MBC FM4U’s radio show Noon Song of Hope to talk about their comeback with their sixth full-length album Flowering.
During the broadcast, a listener mentioned IU’s recent radio appearance, saying, “IU was on Lee Sang Soon’s radio yesterday and gave AKMU a shoutout. She said, ‘They’re like cute younger siblings, but as musicians, they are truly admirable and geniuses.’”

Host Kim Shin Young then brought up IU and AKMU’s previous collaboration on Nakka, asking if they had received any direct feedback. Lee Suhyun responded, “We don’t contact each other often, but we always support each other from the heart. I follow all her activities closely. She’s the senior I respect the most.”

Suhyun then added, “She even said that among her most cherished juniors, it’s not AKMU, but specifically Lee Suhyun. She pointed it out clearly, saying, ‘Suhyun, you’re the junior I cherish the most,’” leaving out her brother Lee Chan-hyuk and drawing laughter in the studio.
She continued, “She’s someone I truly love. As soon as I saw the shoutout, I felt nothing but gratitude. I’m always thankful to her,” expressing her deep affection and appreciation.
