Lee Dong Wook is by no means a stranger to Korean drama enthusiasts. Despite his familiarity, few people actually know the actor is turning 42 years old this year. Some people are even in shock when learning about his real age.
Recently, Lee Dong Wook appeared on a YouTube series “Meenoi’s Yorizori” hosted by singer Meenoi, born in 1997. In the show, the host and the guest have a chance to talk with each other and enjoy summer dishes made by the singer herself. Lee Dong Wook humorously expressed that there would be no trouble if they were caught dining out due to the existing age gap, which took the “I Can’t Wait” singer by surprise.
Specifically, the “Touch Your Heart” male lead said: “They would not feel weird if we went out for a meal together. They would just think that an uncle was treating his niece with a meal”. The singer was in shock to know that he was then 42 years old and asked straight away: “Is it true? Why are you so old?”, flooding the set with laughter.
The “Goblin” actor could not keep his cool at this straightforward reaction, saying that he had never been told as old. However, the “Salang Salang” singer immediately restated: “It was because you looked so young for your age”, making the actor burst out laughing.
