“After 10 months…” Oh My Girl delivers news that makes fans happy ahead of their contract renewal
Girl group Oh My Girl is making a comeback.
According to Spotv News on Feb 7th, Oh My Girl is scheduled to make a comeback as a whole in March. Oh My Girl is making a comeback for the first time in 10 months since the 8th mini album “Dear Oh My Girl” in May 2021.
Oh My Girl is a seven-member girl group consisting of Hyojung, Mimi, YooA, Seunghee, Jiho, Yubin and Arin. They won the Digital Bonsang award at the 36th Golden Disc Awards held at Gocheok Sky Dome in Guro-gu, Seoul on Jan 8th.
The group also had three songs in Melon’s 2021 annual chart: “Dun Dun Dance” (No.18), “Dolphin” (No.36) and “Nonstop” (No.60).
In particular, “Dolphin” and “Nonstop” were ranked for 2 consecutive years following the 2020 annual chart. They also broke the milestone of 479 days, the longest charting-in record for a girl group set by TWICE‘s “Cheer Up”.
Meanwhile, according to a report submitted by RBW to the Financial Supervisory Service, Oh My Girl’s contract is expected to expire within a year, but it has been extended until Apr 20th, 2025 through an early renewal with 5 out of 7 members: Yubin, Seunghee, Arin, YooA and Hyojung.
