On July 30th, SM Entertainment released a notice that Karina will not participate in ‘2024 aespa LIVE TOUR – SYNK : PARALLEL LINE – in JAPAN’ at Marine Messe Fukuoka B Hall on the 30th and 31st of July.
The agency explained, “Karina was absent from the Osaka concert on the 28th due to poor health condition, and after a long consultation, we decided that she will not participate in the Fukuoka shows according to advice from the medical staff that Karina has not fully recovered and she needs some rest for stability and recovery”.
As a result, the remaining three members, Giselle, Winter and NingNing, will continue to perform the two shows in Fukuoka without Karina. SM stated, “We deeply apologize once again to the fans for supporting aespa and Karina and looking forward to the concert. We will do our best to ensure the artist’s quick recovery and stability”.
aespa recently released their Japanese debut single “Hot Mess” and is carrying out a concert tour in Japan.
