On July 29th, the YouTube channel of W Korea uploaded a new video featuring the appearance of aespa’s Karina.
In the video, Karina introduced her summer swimsuit, saying “I really love swimming. Whenever we have overseas schedules, I often swim at the hotel swimming pool. I even taught Winter how to swim”.
The female idol then showed her polaroid collect book, saying, “The collect book I use is actually bigger and there are more polaroids, but it is more comfortable and easier to bring a small one here”. The polaroids showed moments of Karina her debut days, her failed autographs, the first day she met senior singer Taeyeon, and memories such as NingNing and Giselle’s birthday parties.
In addition, Karina introduced her Harry Potter MD notebook, “I like ‘Harry Potter’ so I bought it when we visited an amusement park in Japan”, adding “I’ve been writing lyrics in this notebook. I performed my solo song for the first time during our recent concert, and some parts of the lyrics were written in this notebook.”
She continued, “I didn’t learn how to write lyrics professionally from the beginning. I didn’t know what the verse or the chorus was, so I wrote it like a diary first. Now my skills have improved a lot, to the point that I can tell what an outro is”, showing her efforts to learn composing.
Lastly, Karina took out a large sweet potato stick, “I’m happy just by hearing the sound”. She added, “I actually ate only half of it to bring it here. This is my favorite snack. This is the best side dish and I can just keep eating it without hesitation”.
