aespa Winter reveals special relationship with Karina, “We went through hard times together” 

aespa Winter talks childhood dreams, a strong bond with Karina, and how she copes with difficult situations. 

On August 17, YouTube channel “Everyday is Thursday Night” released a video featuring aespa Winter.

In this appearance, aespa Winter prepared various gifts and albums for the staff when she arrived at the filming location. 

When asked whether Winter was busy these days, the idol said that she was busy even though she was on her break. Nonetheless, because she saw Red Velvet Yeri coming to the show earlier, she did not feel pressure coming there. 

During the informal talk, Winter revealed the time when she first learned the piano, “I learned piano when I was 4 years old. I followed my older brother and learned to use right, left hand there…” She added, “I learned it for a day but I got muscle pain… So I didn’t go from the next day.”

The aespa member also said she took part in a music competition and won second place. 

Winter also unveiled her childhood dreams, “Our family is a soldier family! I thought about becoming a soldier but I really enjoyed singing…” She also wanted to become an elementary school teacher or do social services. 

Winter also mentioned living for 7 long years with Karina since their trainee days. She revealed feeling comfortable living with Karina, adding that they had been through tough times together. 

At the same time, Winter also revealed she struggled to reach out and talk about her feelings to other members unless they asked her. She said, “I don’t think I can talk about my concern well.” The idol elaborated, “On the outside, I say ‘What can I do about it? Nothing happens even If I feel sad about it’. Time will solve it [but] I will go home and [cried].” 

Winter said candidly she listened to sad songs when there was no one around and cried.
