On November 16, Winter did not participate in aespa’s Bangkok concert, part of their third world tour, 2025 aespa LIVE TOUR – SYNK: aeXIS LINE, held at Impact Arena in Thailand.
On the day of the concert, SM Entertainment issued an official statement: “After the previous day’s performance, Winter visited the hospital and was diagnosed with symptoms similar to a cold and flu. Based on the doctor’s recommendation for sufficient rest, we determined she would be unable to attend the soundcheck event and the concert scheduled for today.”

The company added, “This decision was made with Winter’s health and safety as the top priority. The soundcheck event and concert will proceed with the remaining three members. We sincerely thank fans for their understanding and continued support.”
As confirmed, Winter did not appear at the concert. Karina, Ningning, and Giselle took the stage as a trio, covering for Winter’s absence. Following the overseas schedule, aespa returned to Korea through Incheon International Airport on November 17. Winter is now focusing on rest and recovery.
aespa is moving forward with their schedule. On November 17 at noon, they released the digital single SYNK: aeXIS LINE, featuring four solo tracks that were previously unveiled during their third solo concert in August. The release holds added significance as it coincides with their fifth debut anniversary.
Each member contributed to the songwriting and composition of their solo tracks, showcasing their individual musical styles. Winter’s “Blue”, a pop-rock track, highlights her delicate vocal charm. Ningning’s R&B song “Ketchup and Lemonade” conveys languid yet melancholic emotions. Giselle’s “Tornado” brings a cool and dreamy vibe through a tropical dance sound, while Karina’s “Good Stuff” blends bold hip-hop energy with confident flair.
