aespa Tops 2024 August Idol Group Brand Reputation Rankings

According to the analysis of big data of idol groups’ brand reputation in August 2024, the TOP 3 were announced to be No.1 aespa, No.2 SEVENTEEN and No.3 IVE.

Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute extracted 76,116,437 big data of idol group brands from the 15th of last month to the 15th of this month to analyze idol group brand reputation. Compared to July’s brand reputation big data (80,164,793), this month’s brand big data witnessed a 5.05% decrease.

As a result, TOP30 of the Idol Group Brand Reputation Rankings in August 2024 were aespa, SEVENTEEN, IVE, Red Velvet, TripleS, Stray Kids, TWICE, BLACKPINK, NCT, SHINee, Enhypen, BTS, LE SSERAFIM, TWS, Girls’ Generation, Kiss Off Life, The Boyz, (G)I-DLE, ILLIT, RIIZE, INFINITE, NMIXX, EXO, BTOB, HIGHLIGHT, Super Junior, ZB1, Oh My Girl, Apink, and Monsta X.

aespa took No.1 with a total score of 5,112,784 (participation index 203,742; media index 589,204; communication index 1,973,367, and community index 2,346,469). Compared to last month’s figure, aespa brand recorded a decline of 17.51%.

SEVENTEEN placed second place with a total brand score of 3,928,255 (participation index 357,602; media index 586,236; communication index 1,292,471, and community index 1,691,946). This brand also recorded a decrease of 4.63% in brand score compared to that of July.

No.3 IVE achieved a brand score of 3,807,785 (participation index 295,862; media index 414,888; communication index 1,069,102, and community index 2,027,933). Compared to July’s figure, it went down by 17.20%.

Director Koo Chang-hwan of the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute pointed out “long run”, “powerful” and “demonstrate” are mostly linked to the aespa brand in August 2024. In the keyword analysis, “Supernova”, “music power” and “global tour” were mentioned the most.
