aespa made headlines with their appearance at the “ae girls” special exhibition held at Sotheby’s New York headquarters gallery 

“Metaverse group” aespa attended the special exhibition “ae girls” at Sotheby’s New York headquarters.

aespa attended the private special exhibition held at Sotheby’s New York gallery, the world’s largest auction house, on the afternoon of October 14th (local time). Celebrating their visit to Sotheby’s headquarter, aespa showed admiration for the Digital Art Collection “ae girls” in collaboration with Blake Kathryn and left their signs. 

On the occasion of this special event, artworks of “ae girls” were displayed on the LED main gate of Sotheby’s New York office building. They were also repeatedly played on the photo walls and media walls inside the building, attracting keen attention from officials in the industry who visited the place.

aespa and Blake Kathryn’s Digital Art Collection “ae girls” is the world’s largest collaboration between a K-pop group and a global NFT artist. It consists of three series, including “MY Pass”, “Altars”, and “Dreamspace”, and can be purchased through Sotheby’s Metaverse Marketplace until 11 a.m on October 21st.

“MY Pass” is an open edition that includes key-shaped motion artworks reflecting the symbolic elements of each aespa member. Benefits, such as aespa’s handwritten letters, signatures, and exclusive selfies are also provided randomly in the form of mystery boxes.

“Altars” is a limited edition that reinterprets the individuality of aespa members, the group’s metaverse worldview and Kwangya’s aesthetics. Among the 8 editions for each member, the highest bidder will be given a physical art piece signed by aespa and Blake Kathryn.

In addition, “Dreamspace” is a 1:1 limited single edition that reflects the characteristics of the members based on aespa’s worldview and it contains different rooms that combine to make one big work. Buyers will be chosen through bidding during the special exhibition and can receive 4 physical art pieces signed by each member.

Meanwhile, the special exhibition of aespa and Blake Kathryn’s Digital Art Collection “ae girls” will be open for ordinary visitors to enjoy at Sotheby’s New York gallery until October 21st.
