K-Pop fans were treated to a delightful surprise on June 8th as aespa and NewJeans participated in a friendly dance challenge! In a sweet display of camaraderie, members from both groups switched agencies for a day. Minji and Haerin of NewJeans headed to SM Entertainment to learn the moves to aespa’s latest hit, “Armageddon,” alongside Karina and Giselle. Meanwhile, Winter and NingNing of aespa ventured over to HYBE to groove to NewJeans’ catchy track, “How Sweet,” with Hanni and Danielle.
The fun didn’t stop there! During the challenge, Karina entrusted Minji with a secret mission: to spread “Armageddon” promotional stickers throughout the HYBE building. The stickers playfully declared, “When aliens attack, those who haven’t heard ‘Armageddon’ will be eaten first!”
Minji, ever the enthusiastic participant, revealed the secret mission during a recent live stream. “My manager told me not to,” she confessed, “but it was so funny, I had to do it!” True to her word, fans quickly spotted photos of the stickers strategically placed around HYBE, including the elevator.
News of Minji’s successful prank reached Karina, who took to Dear. U Bubble to express her gratitude. This playful exchange between the two groups has solidified the friendly bond between aespa and NewJeans, much to the delight of fans everywhere.

Previously, NewJeans’ mentor Min Hee Jin shared several private messages between herself and HYBE Labels Chairman Bang Shi Hyuk. In one of these messages, Chairman Bang asked Min Hee Jin, “Can you ‘trample’ aespa?” to which the female CEO just laughed in response. Many netizens speculated that this revelation would lead to conflicts between NewJeans and aespa. However, the girls have managed to maintain their admirable relationship.
