Ady An’s husband sentenced to 14 years in prison for committing 34 serious crimes

Levo Chen, the husband of Taiwanese actress-singer Ady An, was arrested for illegal gambling activities. Ady An did not appear in her husband’s trial.

In January 2022, Ady An’s husband – Macau tycoon Levo Chen, was arrested for illegal gambling activities. The former CEO of Tak Chun Group and Macau Legend faced accusations for 83 crimes, including illegal gambling, unauthorized betting, money laundering, fraud, and more.

According to police investigations, the amount of money involved in the case reached 34.9 billion HKD (around 4.4 billion USD). During the operation of the criminal group, Levo Chen pocketed over 1.5 billion HKD (over 191 million USD).

On April 21st, Levo Chen participated in his trial, and was sentenced to 14 years in prison. It is known that the tycoon was convicted of 34 crimes, including organizing illegal activities, illegal gambling, and money laundering.

The case involved 9 defendants, but only Levo Chen appeared in the first trial on April 21st. Ady An’s husband was in custody but remained calm and answered all the court’s questions.

Some members of the Chen family were present at the trial, but Ady An did not appear. In addition, Levo Chen did not interact with his relatives. After Levo Chen was arrested, Ady An did not update her SNS, but instead removed family photos and only left personal information. The actress also did not make any public appearances.

Sources close to Ady An revealed that she was devastated by the incident and cried a lot. However, Ady An had to stay strong to take care of her two young children and her over-90-year-old father-in-law. 

On the other hand, Ady An and billionaire Levo Chen got married in 2017. The famous beauty was pampered like a queen by her husband, who generously bought her expensive real estates and jewelry.
