According to Sports Seoul on September 17, Yoo Jae Yi will marry her longtime non-celebrity partner in Seoul on October 3. The couple has been together for years, nurturing trust and affection before deciding to begin their life together as husband and wife.
A graduate of Seoul Institute of the Arts with a major in acting, Yoo Jae Yi made her acting debut in the 2016 drama The Master of Revenge, where she played the younger version of Go Kang Sook (Lee Il Hwa).
The following year, she appeared in Andante alongside EXO’s Kai, portraying the lively high school student Lee Si Young and earning attention for her natural chemistry with the lead. Despite being a rookie, Yoo Jae Yi impressed audiences with a performance that was both delicate and polished.
In 2019, she showcased a completely different side in Extraordinary You as transfer student Kim Soo Hyang, a character with hidden secrets. She also expanded into film with works like Be-Bop-A-Lula and Intern Detective Oh Gyeon Sik, broadening her acting spectrum.
In 2022, Yoo officially changed her stage name from Lee Ye Hyun to Yoo Jae Yi and signed with Su Company. At the time, the agency stated, “We are excited to work with an actress who possesses both stable acting skills and unlimited potential. With structured management, we will support Yoo Jae Yi’s growth and help her take a greater leap forward.”
