Actress Yoo In-na Shares Frustration After Falling Victim to Online Fraud

shorter"Detectives' Business Secrets," the "Goblin Detective Squad" tackles its first viewer-submitted case, involving shocking stories from Yoo In-na

In the episode airing on the 17th, the “Goblin Detective Squad” takes on a viewer’s case for the first time. The client surprised everyone by revealing their face without any mosaic blurring, sharing their story of losing 1.97 million won in a secondhand mobile phone transaction scam. The client asked the detectives to find the scammer who had disappeared.

Yoo In-na shared her own shocking experience with secondhand fraud, saying, “I was scammed when buying sneakers. They never arrived, and the seller even sent a message saying, ‘I’m not sending them.'” Kim Poong empathized, “The ‘I’m not sending them’ part is really infuriating.” Yoo In-na continued, “I was so angry I told them I’d sue, and they replied with, ‘Catch me if you can, I’ll be waiting.'” Defconn remarked that she was probably scammed by a young person, and Yoo In-na sighed, “I decided to just end it, thinking it was impossible to catch them.”

Lawyer Nam Sung-tae also shared his own story, “I bought a toy for my son for 5,000 won, but when it arrived, it was just bread,” expressing his frustration as a doting father. Defconn humorously added, “Without the toy, it’s just dead bread,” making everyone laugh. Nam Sung-tae, despite being a legal expert, admitted he was helpless in this situation, saying, “It was funny that I bought it and got scammed…I just let it go.”

Defconn also contributed to the conversation, sharing a story about a friend who sold a musical instrument but received an envelope with 80 sheets of blank paper instead. However, this story took an unexpected turn, with Kim Poong finding it touching and saying, “There’s a certain romance to it.” Yoo In-na agreed, suggesting the warmth of the story was better than not getting scammed at all, a unique narrative that will be fully revealed in the broadcast.

Meanwhile, the client amazed the MCs with their investigative skills, comparable to those of a detective. The client had even gone as far as placing a property lien, known as the “red sticker,” on the scammer, who had defrauded 119 people. The intriguing reason why this well-prepared client sought help from the “Goblin Detective Squad” will be unveiled.

The lifestyle detective reality show “Detectives’ Business Secrets” will air on Channel A on the 17th at 9:30 PM.
