On the September 22nd broadcast of SBS’s variety show “My Ugly Duckling”, actress Kim Jung-nan appeared as a special MC.
During the show, MC Shin Dong-yup asked Kim Jung-nan, “You’ve worked with many actors in dramas. They’re all charming and excellent actors, but out of “Queen of Tears” Kim Soo-hyun, “Crash Landing on You” Hyun Bin, and “Reborn Rich” Song Joong-ki, who do you personally find most appealing?”
Without hesitation, Kim Jung-nan picked Song Joong-ki. She said, “He’s exceptionally good at taking care of people around him, he’s manly, charismatic, and has great leadership. There’s something about him that brings everyone together.”
Shin Dong-yup agreed, “I’ve had drinks with him a few times, and he takes care of everyone around him, like 4 or 5 people, without making it obvious, in a very natural way so no one feels uncomfortable.”
Kim Jung-nan continued to praise Song Joong-ki, “When you’re the lead actor, there’s a lot of responsibility that comes with it. He knows very well that the supporting actors need to perform well for the lead to shine. That’s when I realized just how smart he is.”
