Actress Kim Hyun-joo cast as the female lead in Netflix drama “Seonsan” by director Yeon Sang-ho

Kim Hyun-joo has been cast as the main character in a new Netflix original series. 

On July 8th, Joy News 24 announced that Kim Hyun-joo was recently cast to play the main character role in Netflix’s original series “Seonsan” directed by Yeon Sang-ho.

Netflix’s original series “Seosan” will be written and directed by Yeon Sang-ho who was behind the success of Netflix’s original series “Hellbound”, movies “Peninsula”, “Psychokinesis”, “Train to Busan”, TVing’s original series “Monstrous”, and tvN’s “The Cursed”.

“Seonsan” will be the third collaboration between Kim Hyun-joo and director Yeon Sang-ho. The actress worked with director Yeon Sang-ho in Netflix’s original series “Hellbound” and movie “Jung_E”, which is scheduled to be released in 2022.

Xports News quoted the announcement from Kim Hyun-joo’s agency IOK Company, saying “Kim Hyun-joo received a casting offer for ‘Seonsan’ and she is reviewing it with a positive attitude”.
