Actor Won Bin's beautiful story has been revealed
On May 8th, a video mentioning Won Bin’s beautiful story from 24 years ago was posted on the YouTube channel “Organizing Market”, which shares housekeeping tips.
In the video, they visited the home of a 60-year-old housewife. The PD asked, “There’s something I’ve been wanting to ask. Isn’t the person in the picture frame Won Bin?“
In response, the housewife revealed the photo of Won Bin with her children and smilingly said, “Yes, it’s Won Bin.” She continued, “It’s from the 2000s, before Won Bin became famous.”
She recalled, “I took (the children) to get an autograph. We went to get it from another famous celebrity (not Won Bin), but when that person refused, the kids were disappointed. Then Won Bin asked, ‘Can I do it for you?’“
She shared, “We took a photo with Won Bin, but I didn’t know he would become this famous. He became much more famous than the one who refused to give an autograph. Looking back now, maybe it was for the better.“
Born in 1977, Won Bin (real name Kim Do-jin) debuted in 1997 with KBS2’s “Propose”. He was recognized for his acting skills and box office success, but after the release of “The Man from Nowhere” in 2010, he disappeared from the acting scene.
In 2013, he admitted to dating actress Lee Na-young, and in 2015, they had a small wedding in Jeongseon, Gangwon Province. The wedding was held privately. The couple welcomed their son in 2015.
Won Bin refused numerous works such as MBC’s “The King 2 Hearts”, SBS’s “That Winter, the Wind Blows”, the films “Along with the Gods”, “Train to Busan”, “The Battleship Island” and KBS2’s “Descendants of the Sun”, pausing his career in the entertainment industry for nearly 14 years.
