Recently, Chinese netizens are buzzing when a wedding was allegedly canceled because the bride wore her wedding dress to her idol’s show. The story became the talk of the town and appeared at No. 2 on Top Search.
The groom took the story to social media and said that his girlfriend wanted to wear her wedding dress to an idol’s concert. While, on the outside, he said he was fine with it, on the inside, he already had a plan to move back to his hometown and cancel the wedding.
The poster did not reveal which concert the bride went to. Nonetheless, of late, netizens were in shock to see TF BOYS Roy Wang’s concert filled with fans wearing wedding dresses.
This is said to be a current trend. When a fan wears a wedding dress to a wedding, that person, in their mind, is married to that idol. However, there are mixed opinions surrounding the trend. Previously, the organizers of BTS Suga’s concert in Jakarta, Indonesia, had to issue a ban against fans wearing wedding dresses to the concert.
Netizens are divided. Some believe the guy was acting irrational when he called off the wedding even though he already allowed her to wear that costume to the concert. They say, at the least, the bride could learn the real person her groom is.
