A long letter to fans from a MONSTA X member who didn’t renew his contract with the agency

MONSTA X member I.M, who left Starship Entertainment, expressed his willingness to continue his group activities through a handwritten letter.

I.M, the youngest member of the idol group MONSTA X, is the only member of his group who did not renew the contract with his agency Starship Entertainment.

On August 8th, I.M, a member of MONSTA X, posted a long handwritten letter on the official fan cafe to express his honest feelings to fans.

“I have grown attached a lot as I’ve been with Starship for a long time, but I think I need a new challenge now, so I made this decision after a lot of consideration,” he said, explaining why he left the agency.

I.M said, “I want to say thank you to the Starship family, with whom I have been laughing and crying together for many days.”

He didn’t forget to thank the fandom ‘MONBEBE’.

I.M said affectionately, “MONBEBE has been with us to make the happiest and brightest moments together, MONSTA X as 6 people will still be with MONBEBE.”

His contract with the agency is over, but I.M is expected to continue to work with the team.

Many fans applauded I.M, who showed his willingness to continue his activities as MONSTA X.

Starship Entertainment said earlier, “We recently renewed our contracts with five members of MONSTA X, Shownu, Minhyuk, Kihyun, and Hyungwon.

The agency added, “Since all six members have the same affection for MONSTA X and MONBEBE, we have concluded the consultation with I.M so that he continue all future group activities.

Meanwhile, MONSTA X recently has a break after successfully completing the “2022 MONSTA X NO LIMIT US TOUR.”
