A Chinese idol revealed demos recorded by BLACKPINK members during their trainee days

Unreleased demos sung by Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa, are gaining fans’ attention.

BLACKPINK has gone over 500 days without a full-group comeback and fans are desperate for some new music. Although there have been many comeback rumors circulating around, and the members themselves also teased that they are preparing to return, an official announcement from YG is still nowhere to be found.

Because this hiatus has lasted for so long and fans always yearn for new content from BLACKPINK, any new “crumb” related to the girls can make them go wild. Recently, during her live broadcast, Chinese female idol Jennifer Zhou, a contestant on KBS2’s survival reality show ‘Idol Rebooting Project: The Unit’, played pre-debut demos recorded by Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa

Jennie Rose

According to Jennifer, her label bought the copyright to produce the Chinese version of these demos. She added, “Because these songs are so different from BLACKPINK’s style, they were no longer used.”

The demo by Jennie and Rosé is drawing the most attention as it shows the perfect combination of their voices. After listening to this demo, many fans are asking YG to launch a Jennie-Rosé subunit in the future.

Some comments from fans:

YG really needs to debut a sub-unit for Rosé and Jennie. Their voices blend so well together.

Rosé’s vocals and Jennie’s rap are amazing.

A Jennie and Rosé sub-unit would be a dream. Their harmony is perfect.

Rosé sounds so attractive, as expected of our main vocal. I can’t stop listening to this demo. BLACKPINK needs to make a comeback asap!
