Suzy became a big star. How did she get into the entertainment industry?

Suzy was born in Gwangju in 1994. It is said that in 2009, a JYP official happened to cast her on the way to the bathroom. She passed Superstar K’s Gwangju regional preliminary round but was ultimately eliminated. The official waited for 8 hours to persuade her.

At that time, JYP would cast you even if you only had dancing skills, singing skills or looks, but Suzy was the only case to top all three.

She was already renowned during childhood for owning a perfect visual. When she was in the 8th grade, she worked part-time as an online shopping model. With a mature appearance, people thought she was a high school student, so she got casting offers from agencies 3 times a day.

She auditioned for JYP Entertainment in 4 days then signed a contract to enter the entertainment industry.
