Sports outlet ESPN Mexico highlighted the moment on its official social media channels, sharing how Jimin imitated Haaland during the concert. The clip quickly spread across social media, with “Jimin” trending in X’s sports category while “Haaland” simultaneously appeared among the platform’s music-related trending topics.

The memorable moment began during the soundcheck for BTS’ July 11 concert (local time) at Allianz Arena in Munich. One fan held up a creative poster featuring three famous blond figures side by side—Thor from Norse mythology, Erling Haaland, and Jimin. The poster labeled them respectively as “God of Thunder,” “God of Football,” and “Our God.”

After noticing the sign, Jimin sat down on the stage, carefully pointed at each person on the poster to read the captions, and burst into laughter as he realized the comparison.

Later during the main concert, Jimin surprised the audience by recreating Haaland’s distinctive walking style, drawing cheers and laughter from fans throughout the stadium.

Sharing the clip, ESPN Mexico wrote, “Haalandmania has reached BTS,” adding that Jimin spotted the Haaland banner before delivering a perfect imitation of the Norwegian football star during the performance.

The outlet also explained that fans in Germany had presented Jimin with a poster featuring Thor, Haaland, and the BTS singer together, captioned “God of Thunder,” “God of Football,” and “Our God,” while showcasing both Jimin’s reaction to the sign and his on-stage parody.

Chilean radio network LOS40 Chile also joined the fun by featuring Jimin and Haaland on its official social media accounts. Using Jimin’s solo hit “Who” as the background music, the station posted side-by-side close-up images of the pair’s blond hairstyles with the caption “Blonde Time,” inviting followers to guess the identities of the two famous blond stars.
