On the July 11 broadcast of tvN’s Goblin 10th Anniversary Trip, cast members Gong Yoo, Lee Dong Wook, Kim Go Eun, Yoo In Na, Kim Byung Chul, Lee El, and Park Kyung Hye reunited to revisit memorable scenes from the beloved fantasy drama and reminisce about filming together.
During one of the games, the cast was asked to recall a famous line in which Ji Eun Tak (Kim Go Eun) asks Kim Shin (Gong Yoo), “Which type do you prefer: a devoted homemaker, someone sexy, or a professional?”
After correctly answering the question, the cast was asked about their real-life preferences. Lee Dong Wook replied, “I like someone who has a professional career.” He explained, “It’s not the profession itself that matters. I find people attractive when they genuinely love what they do and devote themselves passionately to their work.”
Yoo In Na then presented him with a hypothetical choice: “Would you choose someone who has a career but earns very little, or someone who is financially comfortable but doesn’t really have a profession?”
Without hesitation, Lee Dong Wook answered, “Money isn’t important.” Yoo In Na continued by asking, “What if your partner kept spending your money?” Lee Dong Wook replied, “That’s fine. I have enough.”
His confident response immediately drew admiration from the cast. Yoo In Na reacted by saying, “That’s so cool,” while laughter filled the studio.
The conversation also revealed that each cast member had a different ideal type. Gong Yoo chose “a devoted homemaker,” while Kim Byung Chul answered “someone sexy” without hesitation, sending everyone into laughter. Surprised that none of their answers overlapped, Yoo In Na commented on their different preferences, prompting Lee Dong Wook to jokingly add, “Good thing none of us picked the same one,” bringing even more laughter to the reunion.
