On July 7, PA Entertainment shared a statement through its official social media accounts, announcing that CEO Yoon Sung-eun had passed away after battling a long-term illness. The agency also revealed, “PA Entertainment will suspend all management operations and, after internal discussions, has decided to proceed with the process of closing the company.”
The agency added, “We sincerely thank everyone who has been with us over the years,” and continued, “We ask for your understanding regarding the concern caused by this sudden news.”
Founded in 2018, PA Entertainment has managed actors including Jung Woong-in, Park Hae-mi, and Oh Seung-ah. More recently, the company expanded its roster by signing Seowon, formerly of NINE.i and a contestant on Mnet’s Boys Planet, as well as Chunji of Teen Top.
With the decision to close the agency, it has been reported that the contracts of all artists and employees have been concluded.
