On July 6, Nahyun took to social media to post several new pictures alongside the caption, “Entering week 28! I’ve been skinny my entire life, but now I’m setting a new personal weight record every single day. I hardly take photos anymore. Haha. But when else will I ever gain this much weight? I should probably stop eating so much watermelon.”

Among the photos, Nahyun proudly held an ultrasound image of her baby, who is now almost ready to enter the world. She also showed that she has continued exercising throughout her pregnancy to stay healthy. In another picture, the actress gently cradled her noticeably larger baby bump while flashing a playful smile.

Nahyun first surprised fans in March when she announced that she was expecting her first child before getting married. At the time, she revealed, “While preparing for our wedding, we received an unexpected but precious gift first.”

She added, “Things happened in a slightly different order than we originally planned, but it has become an even more meaningful beginning for us. We’ll take our time preparing for the wedding, so it will probably happen about a year from now.”

Nahyun debuted as a member of the girl group SONAMOO in 2015, promoting songs including “I Like U Too Much” and “I Think I Love U.” After the group’s disbandment, she transitioned into acting and has since appeared in productions such as Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938 and Don’t Lie, Rahee.
