Go Youn Jung is set to lead the upcoming blockbuster Nambeol, directed by cinematographer-turned-filmmaker Lee Mo Gae, and has begun preparing for the production. Set during the early Joseon Dynasty, Nambeol is a hard-boiled martial arts action film that follows a diverse group of warriors each from different social classes and with different abilities as they travel to Tsushima Island to rescue prisoners kidnapped by Japanese pirates.
The project had already generated significant buzz following the casting of Lee Byung Hun, and anticipation has grown even further with Go Youn Jung officially joining the cast. The film will mark the first time the two actors share the screen.
