Nearly a decade after the phenomenal success of Goblin, the drama’s four main stars reunited for tvN’s Goblin 10th Anniversary Trip, delighting longtime fans with candid stories about their enduring friendship. Among the highlights was Kim Go Eun‘s playful complaint about Gong Yoo and Lee Dong Wook, whose close bond became a humorous topic during the broadcast.
During the July 4 episode, Kim Go Eun revealed that despite the drama ending years ago, the cast still occasionally gets together. She shared that she has met Gong Yoo, Lee Dong Wook, and Yoo In Na for spontaneous gatherings over the years.
Speaking about Lee Dong Wook’s personality, she joked: “He’s such a J (MBTI type), and I’m not really like that.” Kim Go Eun added that because the other three actors are her seniors, she now feels comfortable speaking openly with them.

Gong Yoo reflected on the group’s friendship, saying that despite the age gap, they have always treated one another like friends. He then surprised viewers by saying: “Even though there’s an age difference, we’ve never really thought about it. We’ve always gotten along like friends.” He also claimed that he actually contacts Kim Go Eun more often than Lee Dong Wook.
Kim Go Eun quickly laughed off Gong Yoo’s statement, responding: “But you two are the ones who meet each other the most.” Her playful remark drew laughter from the cast. Gong Yoo admitted she had a point before jokingly explaining: “Well… there’s a certain comfort between guys.”
The lighthearted exchange highlighted the genuine chemistry that has remained between the cast long after the drama concluded.

Gong Yoo and Lee Dong Wook also revealed that the anniversary special happened because of Kim Go Eun. According to them, she was the first to suggest celebrating the drama’s milestone together. “Kim Go Eun suggested that it would be fun if the four of us did something together for the 10th anniversary, whether it was traveling or something else.” Kim Go Eun explained that she had always wanted fans to see the group’s natural chemistry again. “The four of us have great chemistry together, but we never really had another opportunity to show it after filming ended.”
The four actors also thanked viewers for continuing to remember Goblin nearly ten years after its original broadcast. They shared that many fans still think of the drama whenever winter arrives, calling Goblin “a brilliant winter” that continues to hold a special place in audiences’ hearts.
The reunion offered fans a nostalgic glimpse into one of Korean television’s most beloved casts—and proved that their friendship remains as warm as ever.
