On July 2, fashion magazine DAZED KOREA uploaded a video to its official social media channels featuring the launch event of a liquor brand.
The event attracted an impressive lineup of Korean stars, including celebrity couple Jang Dong-gun and Ko So-young, as well as Lee Min-ho, Lee Jung-jae, Kang Dong-won, Jung Il-woo, and Hong Jin-kyung.
Among the attendees, Jang Dong-gun became one of the biggest talking points, as fans were excited to see him at a public event again after a long absence.
In the released footage, the actor appeared in a navy suit, smiling warmly toward the cameras while holding a microphone. He looked relaxed throughout the event, and some viewers also noticed that his face appeared slightly flushed as he enjoyed the atmosphere.
Following the event, attendees who met Jang Dong-gun in person began sharing photos and firsthand impressions online.
Many praised the actor’s real-life appearance, leaving comments such as, “He has an even better presence in person,” “He’s changed a little, but he’s still Jang Dong-gun,” “He’s much more handsome in real life,” and “You can see the years, but his aura is still unmatched.”
Ko So-young also attracted attention with her timeless beauty. She was seen greeting Lee Min-ho with a bright smile, and her warm, natural interactions added to the friendly atmosphere of the event.
Jang Dong-gun has been taking a break from acting since the release of the film A Normal Family. However, fans are already looking forward to his return to the big screen, as his completed film Night Fever is scheduled for release later this year.
Jang Dong-gun and Ko So-young married in 2010 and have a son and a daughter. Over the years, they have remained one of South Korea’s most beloved celebrity couples.
