Sana later addressed the issue through a fan communication platform, explaining that the outfit had looked different during the fitting. “During the fitting, the middle part didn’t open up like that. I was so busy before going on stage that I didn’t have time to check myself in the mirror.”
She revealed that part of the dress had folded inward, making it appear more revealing than intended. “I only realized after returning to the waiting room that I had been photographed like that. I was already disappointed that it didn’t look the way it did during the fitting, and seeing so many comments made me even more upset.” It was later revealed that Sana adjusted her outfit before appearing in the event’s second session.
Hyeri Responds to Body Criticism
Actress and singer Hyeri also recently addressed comments about her figure after appearing at her 2026 Asia Tour Fan Meeting in Seoul on June 13. While performing songs by other idols, Hyeri wore a fitted dress. Photos from the event led some online users to comment that her stomach appeared more noticeable than expected.
Rather than responding directly to the criticism, Hyeri later posted behind-the-scenes photos on social media that showcased her slim physique, effectively putting the speculation to rest.
She also shared a thoughtful message with fans. “Personally, I’m happy with myself, but I understand that some people might think it doesn’t look professional.” Hyeri continued: “All of us are beautiful just as we are. I don’t understand why being skinny is considered the standard for looking professional.”

Kep1er’s Kim Chaehyun Clarifies Ballet Outfit Debate
Kep1er member Kim Chaehyun also found herself caught in an unexpected controversy after appearing in a ballet-themed video uploaded to the group’s official channel on May 2.
Together with members Choi Yujin and Xiaoting, Chaehyun wore a pastel ballet outfit while participating in a ballet class. Although many praised the members’ elegant styling, some fans expressed concern that Chaehyun’s outfit had a neckline they considered too revealing, with some even criticizing the group’s stylist.
Chaehyun quickly clarified the situation herself. “Since this became an issue, I want to say that I chose the outfit myself.” She explained that she had specifically wanted to wear pink for the ballet concept. “When you think of ballet, you think of pink. Most of the other outfits available looked dull. I thought the outfit was beautiful and expected everyone to like it, so I was smiling the whole time. I never imagined it would become controversial.”
