Singer-songwriter Chang Kiha and actress Yoon Ga-i have officially confirmed that they are in a relationship, overcoming an 18-year age difference. According to an exclusive report by MyDaily on June 27, the couple has been dating for more than two years after first meeting through Coupang Play’s SNL Korea in 2023.
According to industry sources, Chang Kiha and Yoon Ga-i first crossed paths when Chang Kiha appeared as a guest host on SNL Korea, while Yoon Ga-i was working as one of the show’s cast members. The two reportedly grew close naturally after discovering their shared love of music and films, which eventually developed into a romantic relationship.
Although they have largely kept their romance private and avoided making public displays of affection, the couple follows each other on social media, and people close to them have long been aware of their relationship.
Before dating Chang Kiha, Yoon Ga-i spoke about her ideal partner during a variety show appearance. She said, “I like someone who remains kind and humble until the end. I also like someone with a gentle, handsome face.”
On June 27, Yoon Ga-i’s agency, We Entertainment, confirmed the relationship to MyDaily, stating: “It is true that Yoon Ga-i and Chang Kiha are dating.”
Chang Kiha debuted in 2003 as a member of the indie rock band Nunkko Cobain. He later gained nationwide recognition through Kiha & The Faces, one of South Korea’s most influential indie bands. Following the group’s disbandment in 2018, he continued his career as a solo musician while also expanding into acting. He appeared in the sitcom Potato Star 2013QR3 and has made special appearances in dramas such as Unicorn and the film Smugglers.
Yoon Ga-i made her acting debut in the 2019 film Second Life. She gained widespread recognition after joining the fourth season of Coupang Play’s SNL Korea as a regular cast member in 2023. Since then, she has appeared in dramas including Love Scout, Undercover High School, Mary Kills People, and The Art of Sarah. She is also set to appear in the upcoming projects Asura Balbalta and the highly anticipated second season of All of Us Are Dead.
