Chinese singer and influencer Nikita Huang is facing another difficult period after reportedly losing a lawsuit against a former close friend and receiving restrictions on Douyin.

The latest dispute began after Nikita Huang introduced a new boyfriend during a livestream in early June. A former friend identified as Xiao Zhao then claimed that the man had previously been her boyfriend and fiancé, accusing Nikita Huang of becoming involved with him and contributing to the collapse of their planned marriage.

Xiao Zhao also alleged that Nikita Huang had taken 260,000 yuan from her under the pretext of opening a business together. She further accused the influencer of using her daughter and single-mother image to gain sympathy and earn money from followers.

Nikita Huang denied the claims and filed a lawsuit, alleging that Xiao Zhao had misappropriated the money and spread false rumors about her private life. Xiao Zhao later filed her own legal action against Nikita Huang.

Nikita Huang Reportedly Loses Court Battle

According to the report, a court reviewed evidence submitted by both sides during a hearing on June 25 and found insufficient proof to support Nikita Huang’s accusations against Xiao Zhao.

Nikita Huang was reportedly ordered to bear compensation and related legal expenses. Her subsequent objections were also said to have been rejected, leaving the earlier ruling unchanged. The full written judgment was not included in the report, meaning the wider allegations made by both women should not be treated as conclusively proven beyond the court’s specific findings.

Douyin Restricts Her Accounts

Nikita Huang’s Douyin account, along with an account featuring her young daughter, was reportedly restricted from livestreaming and receiving new followers.

The restrictions allegedly followed complaints that she had used her public profile to encourage online attacks after being criticized for walking a dog in a public area without a muzzle. The length of the platform penalty has not been disclosed.

The measure could have a major financial impact because livestream commerce is reportedly one of Nikita Huang’s main income sources. She is also said to be facing pressure from childcare costs, rent and outstanding debts. Chinese media previously reported that she had been restricted from certain luxury spending after allegedly failing to repay money owed to a management company.

Paternity Claims Involving Wang Sicong Remain Unresolved

Nikita Huang first attracted widespread attention in June 2024 when she claimed that businessman Wang Sicong was the father of her daughter, Winky. She said she discovered the pregnancy around two months after their relationship ended and chose to keep the baby after doctors warned that terminating the pregnancy could affect her future fertility.

According to Nikita Huang, she informed Wang Sicong only after the child was born, but he allegedly blocked her on WeChat and provided no financial support. “The father of my daughter is Wang Sicong,” she said during a livestream. “I am not revealing this for fame. I only hope my daughter can have a father in the true sense.”

Wang Sicong has not publicly confirmed the child’s paternity. Nikita Huang later announced plans to pursue legal action and request a DNA test, but the dispute remains unresolved. With legal setbacks, social media restrictions and financial pressure continuing to mount, Nikita Huang’s online career now faces growing uncertainty.
