Fans of second-generation K-pop group B.A.P have received exciting news as the group’s members have reunited for a special project years after the group’s activities largely came to a halt. While a full-scale comeback has not yet been announced, the reunion marks a meaningful moment for longtime fans who have waited years to see the members together again.

Debuting in 2012 under TS Entertainment, B.A.P quickly gained attention for its unique concept of alien warriors from another planet, powerful performances, and distinctive visuals. The group originally consisted of six members: Bang Yongguk, Himchan, Jung Daehyun, Yoo Youngjae, Moon Jongup and Zelo.

With hit songs such as Warrior, One Shot, and 1004 (Angel), the group established itself as one of the most respected boy groups of its generation and built a strong international fanbase.

Despite their success, B.A.P’s career was significantly affected by a highly publicized dispute with TS Entertainment. In 2014, the members filed legal action against the agency, citing unfair contracts, payment issues, and concerns about excessive schedules and health-related risks. The conflict led to a lengthy hiatus before both sides eventually reached a settlement. As individual contracts later expired, members gradually left the agency, and group activities became increasingly rare, leading many fans to believe that B.A.P had effectively disbanded.

Hope for a reunion resurfaced when four members Bang Yongguk, Jung Daehyun, Yoo Youngjae, and Moon Jongup returned under the project group BANG&JUNG&YOO&MOON. The project delighted longtime fans, although youngest member Zelo was unable to participate at the time due to his military service obligations.

On June 21, Daehyun shared a photo showing five B.A.P members gathered together in a recording studio. The image quickly attracted attention from fans, who were thrilled to see the members reunited after years of pursuing individual careers and completing military service.

Later, Daehyun revealed more details about his upcoming release, explaining that the song was inspired by his gratitude toward fans who have supported the group throughout its journey. According to Daehyun, Bang Yongguk suggested inviting all of the members to participate in the track.

The upcoming song, titled “Name,” will reportedly feature all five active members singing together, making it a meaningful reunion project for both the artists and their fans. Rather than serving as a full-fledged group comeback, the track is intended as a heartfelt message of appreciation to the fandom that has continued supporting B.A.P despite years of inactivity.

While fans are still hoping for a complete comeback in the future, the announcement has already generated excitement across social media and renewed interest in the group’s legacy.

The reunion has sparked speculation about whether additional collaborations or even a full B.A.P comeback could eventually happen. Although no further plans have been confirmed, seeing the members reunite in the studio has given fans renewed optimism that more activities may be on the horizon.

For many longtime supporters, “Name” represents not only a reunion song but also a celebration of B.A.P’s enduring bond and the loyalty of their fandom through years of uncertainty.
