The 1993-born actress recently uploaded a makeup tutorial featuring her current appearance. In the video, Qiao Xin wore her long black hair naturally and chose a light makeup style that highlighted her fair skin, large eyes and gentle features.

However, some viewers said she looked noticeably different from the image they remembered from her acting career. Her face appeared slightly fuller, leading several netizens to admit that they did not immediately recognize her. Comments included, “I would not have known it was Qiao Xin,” “Her face looks a little fuller,” and “She still looks very beautiful after such a long absence.”

Despite the mixed reactions, many fans praised her elegant atmosphere and youthful appearance at the age of 33. Qiao Xin gained widespread recognition in 2016 through her role as Guan Ju’er in Ode to Joy. She later appeared in productions including Nirvana in Fire 2, Dream Garden, The Autumn Ballad, Ordinary Glory and Cross Fire.
Although she became known for her elegant image and screen presence, her acting ability also received mixed reviews. Some viewers felt that she struggled to stand out beside experienced co-stars and had yet to secure a major breakthrough role.

Qiao Xin’s private life has also attracted attention due to reports about her wealthy family background. Chinese media have claimed that her family owns valuable properties in Shanghai, including a manor house of approximately 1,200 m², and overseas. She later drew even more interest after reportedly marrying Lai Boli, an heir connected to the family behind Hong Rong Yuan Group. The marriage led some media outlets to describe her as one of the wealthiest actresses of her generation.
Qiao Xin has not formally announced her retirement, but her long absence from acting projects has continued to fuel speculation about whether she has stepped away from showbiz permanently.
