According to an exclusive MHN Sports report published on June 23, Moon Ga Young has nearly completed discussions regarding an exclusive contract with Fantagio. The two sides are currently said to be coordinating the remaining details, with the agreement likely to be signed in July unless unexpected issues arise.
Previous reports had already linked the actress to the agency. At the time, Fantagio stated that it was “positively reviewing” the possibility. A Fantagio representative has now confirmed that negotiations are close to completion, saying, “It is true that we are preparing for a contract in July.” However, the agency did not disclose a specific signing date or further contractual details.
Should the deal be finalized, Moon Ga Young will join a roster that reportedly includes Cha Eun Woo, Kim Seon Ho, Lee Sung Kyung and Lee Se Young. Her addition would also strengthen Fantagio’s growing actor-management division.
Moon Ga Young began her career as a child actress and later established herself as a leading star through dramas including True Beauty, The Interest of Love and Delightfully Deceitful.
She notably starred opposite Cha Eun Woo in tvN’s True Beauty in 2020. The drama gained significant popularity in South Korea and internationally, making their possible reunion under the same agency especially meaningful to fans. Moon Ga Young and Fantagio are reportedly completing the final coordination process, with an official announcement potentially arriving as early as July.
