SOONSOONHEE member Jihwan is preparing to begin a new chapter in his life as he gets ready to marry his non-celebrity partner.
On June 20, Jihwan, whose full name is Yoon Jihwan, revealed that he will hold his wedding ceremony at a venue in Busan’s Nam District. According to reports, his bride-to-be is two years younger than him and is not involved in the entertainment industry.
The wedding is expected to bring together numerous colleagues, seniors, and friends from the Korean music scene. Several artists will also take part in the celebration by performing congratulatory songs, including vocal group Jamgol Bus, ballad singer Juho, singer-songwriter Pianoman, and Jihwan’s fellow SOONSOONHEE members.
Ahead of the ceremony, Jihwan shared heartfelt thoughts about his upcoming marriage and expressed gratitude for the relationship that led him to this moment.
He explained that music first connected the couple and eventually brought them to this significant milestone. Jihwan added that he cherishes the relationship deeply and hopes that the two will continue supporting one another as lifelong partners while building a happy and healthy future together.
Jihwan has built his career as a member of SOONSOONHEE, a vocal group widely recognized for emotional ballads such as “At Seomyeon Station,” “Sad Invitation,” and “Even If I Close My Eyes.” Over the years, the trio has become one of Busan’s most representative vocal acts and earned a loyal fanbase through their heartfelt music.
The group’s popularity expanded even further after their original song “To Live” gained viral attention online and became a widely used soundtrack for short-form video content.
With this marriage, Jihwan becomes the second member of SOONSOONHEE to tie the knot. Fellow member Kitae previously entered married life, making Jihwan the latest member of the group to celebrate the milestone.
