On June 17, actress and former Tiny-G member Min Dohee uploaded a video titled “I Quit My Café Part-Time Job” on her YouTube channel, sharing her experiences and reflecting on how the job positively impacted her life during a difficult period.

In the video, the actress explained that she never expected to stay at the café for so long. “I mentioned in my first episode that I was working part-time. I’ve been working at this place for more than a year now. I never imagined I would stay this long, but it ended up being over a year.”

Born in 1994, Min Dohee is currently 32 years old. She admitted that taking on her first part-time job in her thirties initially felt intimidating. “When I first started working part-time, I was nervous. But now I think it was one of the best decisions I’ve made. Starting anything is always the hardest part.” The actress candidly shared that before taking the job, she was struggling emotionally due to a lack of acting opportunities.

According to Min Dohee, she often felt discouraged and isolated when work was scarce. However, the café position helped her rediscover a sense of purpose. “Before I started working, I didn’t have many projects and had become very withdrawn. I often felt down. Through this job, I realized that what I really needed was to feel needed.”

She added that being recognized for her efforts boosted her confidence and gave her renewed energy. “Receiving acknowledgment for what I do made me feel better. Working has had a very positive impact on my life in many ways.”

Although she enjoyed the experience, Min Dohee explained that she decided to leave because new schedules and projects have started coming in. “At first, I lacked confidence, but now I genuinely enjoy working and understand the satisfaction of going to work every day. Since I have some upcoming schedules, I’ll be wrapping up my part-time job soon.”

The actress noted that the structured routine helped improve her mental well-being. “Before I started working, I was almost living in isolation. Having a job helped lift my mood. Even a short shift could brighten my day and positively affect my energy.”

Min Dohee expressed gratitude for the experience and said she has no regrets about spending more than a year working outside the entertainment industry. “It was a meaningful period of more than a year. I don’t know when I’ll work a part-time job again, but I have no regrets about the time I spent doing it.”

Min Dohee previously faced criticism in September 2025 after posting a travel photo that showed her resting her feet, while wearing shoes, on airport seating. The image quickly sparked backlash online, with many netizens accusing her of poor public etiquette. Following the controversy, the actress issued an immediate apology, stating that she accepted the criticism and would be more mindful of her actions in the future.

She later addressed the incident on YouTube, explaining that her habit stemmed partly from her small stature. “This might sound like an excuse, but because I’m short and have short legs, my feet often don’t comfortably reach the floor when sitting. That’s why I sometimes sit cross-legged or lift my feet up. After that incident, I definitely made an effort to change the habit.”

While Min Dohee’s café job began during a challenging period in her career, it ultimately became a source of confidence, routine, and personal growth. With new projects reportedly on the horizon, the actress appears ready to turn the page and focus once again on her entertainment career.
