According to reports on June 17, Yuna has been cast as Kim Ri Ji in the upcoming Netflix original series Do Not Climb Over The Wall.
Yuna will portray Kim Ri Ji, a transfer student at Jinwol Girls’ High School and a firm believer in romance above all else. With her unique charm and adorable appearance, she gains admission to the highly selective school as a long-distance track athlete. Once she settles into her new environment, she begins sharing stories about her previous co-ed school, drawing the attention of her classmates. She even boasts about having boys’ phone numbers, gradually disrupting what was once a highly focused academic atmosphere.

Do Not Climb Over The Wall follows the story of two rival elite schools a prestigious boys’ high school and a prestigious girls’ high school separated by only a wall. Two fiercely competitive students become student body presidents at their respective schools and find themselves navigating a dangerous first love under a strict rule that expels any student caught dating. The series is described as a fiery high-teen romance about 19-year-olds risking everything for young love.
Yuna first stepped into acting earlier this year with a special appearance in the tvN drama Undercover Miss Hong. She is also set to appear in a supporting role in the upcoming tvN drama My Bias, My Boss, scheduled to air later this year.
Do Not Climb Over The Wall will be released on Netflix and is written by Lee Na Eun, the screenwriter behind the hit dramas Our Beloved Summer and Melo Movie. Alongside Yuna, actors Moon Sang Min and Shin Si Ah have been confirmed as the series’ lead stars.
